Happenings at the Chapel

The events listed below occur during the academic year (late August to early May), please refer to our calendar and social media for information.

Most events are geared towards undergraduate students. If you are a graduate student and would like to get involved, please contact one of our campus ministers.

SNG- Sunday Night Gatherings

Please join us after the 5:30pm Student Mass for fellowship.

TNS- Thursday Night Suppers

4-7pm: Confessions, Adoration, Mass, Dinner and Desserts, Fellowship, Fun, and Speaker Series.

Praise and Worship

Adoration

Join us in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament at the Chapel every Tuesday and Thursday from 4-5pm.

Praise and Worship

There will be music and time for silent prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament at the Chapel.

Works of Mercy

Remembering that others are “Jesus in disguise” we do these charitable actions to help our neighbors in their bodily and spiritual needs.

Pray for Life

Join us as we pray and witness for the unborn at the abortion clinic in Falls Church.

Street Walks

Join us as we share the Faith through spiritual and corporal acts.

Lamb Center

Students cook a meal and then serve and share it with residents at the local shelter in Fairfax. We will cook on Thursday night after TNS, and then meet on Friday to transport the food to the shelter.

Join us for either or both parts of this event.

Juvenile Detention Center

Join us as we visit teenagers at the detention center in Fairfax.

STUFF TO KNOW

Weekly schedule

Sunday Masses — The Saturday Vigil Mass is at 5:30 PM; Sunday Masses are at 11:00 AM and our Student Mass is on Sunday at 5:30pm.

• Sunday Night Gatherings (SNG)- For Catholic Patriot Students- Most Sunday evenings after the 5:30pm Student Mass.

• Thursday Night Suppers (TNS) — Share a meal with other Catholic Patriots and enjoy some fellowship.

  • The evening begins with Adoration and Confession at 4pm; Mass at 5pm, followed by food, fellowship, and an activity or talk. The evening ends by 7pm, but feel free to hang out for a while in the Chapel.

• Weekday Masses— During the academic year when classes are in session- Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at Noon (HUB rms 1&2); Tuesdays and Thursday at 5pm (Chapel). (locations may vary depending on university and CCM events- check our website calendar)

• Adoration — Tuesday and Thursday from 4-5pm. Once a month join us for All Night/Day Adoration. See our calendar for dates.

• Confessions — Tuesday and Thursday from 4-5pm; Saturday 4:30-5:15pm; Sunday 10:00-10:45am and 4:00-5:15pm (depending on priest availability). Students can contact Fr. Farrell to set up an individual confession time.

• CCM Hours of Operation- The Chapel opens at 8:30am and closes at 11pm, M-F. Weekend hours vary according to activities, but the Chapel is always open one hour before Masses begin and closes 1/2 hour after.
